Career discovery and direction
Accessible tools and assessments help participants understand their strengths, interests, work style, and potential career pathways.
Wisconsin RISE helps people understand their strengths, prepare for employment, build professional confidence, and connect with the resources and relationships that can move them forward.
The mission of Wisconsin RISE is to strengthen workforce readiness across Wisconsin by providing accessible career assessments, practical skill-building opportunities, personalized preparation, professional connections, and community-based support.
We help individuals recognize their value, communicate their experience with confidence, and take informed steps toward meaningful employment and long-term career growth.
Start with the part of the network that speaks to you.
Fox Cities RISE—Resources for Interview Success & Employment—began with a focused purpose: help individuals become more confident and prepared for job interviews.
As the organization developed its career assessment, participant portal, workshop structure, educational resources, and partner network, the need became increasingly clear: people need more than help answering interview questions.
They may need support identifying their strengths, exploring career paths, creating a résumé, building a professional online presence, using new technology, practicing communication, or connecting with trusted resources in their own community.
The challenges RISE was created to address were not limited to the Fox Cities. They exist in communities throughout Wisconsin.
Wisconsin RISE combines a digital point of access with locally delivered support so people can find what they need without navigating the workforce system alone.
Accessible tools and assessments help participants understand their strengths, interests, work style, and potential career pathways.
Résumé development, LinkedIn, interview preparation, communication, networking, AI job-search tools, and workplace expectations.
Supportive professionals help participants practice, receive constructive feedback, and prepare for real employment situations.
Participants, employers, volunteers, educators, workforce professionals, and organizations build stronger pathways together.
When someone needs support beyond RISE, the network can connect them with appropriate local services and education providers.
Partners can share workshops, refer participants, coordinate opportunities, and strengthen the statewide workforce ecosystem.
RISE is not limited to people who are unemployed. It is for anyone preparing to pursue, change, or grow within an opportunity.

Wisconsin RISE is designed to grow through community partnerships rather than operate as a one-size-fits-all program. Every region has different employers, industries, resources, and workforce needs. Local partners understand those needs best.
Wisconsin RISE will provide the shared tools, standards, technology, and statewide visibility while local organizations and professionals shape opportunities for the people they serve.
Become a community partnerWisconsin RISE is envisioned as a statewide workforce-readiness resource center combining a digital platform with locally delivered support.
The statewide model preserves what made Fox Cities RISE meaningful from the beginning: personal support, practical preparation, dignity, confidence, and strong community relationships.
Wisconsin RISE is not a staffing agency, placement service, or guarantee of employment.
We envision a statewide system that makes workforce-readiness support easier to find, easier to access, and easier to navigate.
“I understand my strengths. I know how to communicate my value. I am ready for what comes next.”
